Introduction: 

Rebecca graduated from Amherst College in 2023 with a degree in Biology. Her interest in research grew out of a fascination with the intersection of health disparities and oncology, which led her to the Undergraduate Cancer Research Training Program at UCLA/CDU Drew. There, she worked in Dr. Alice Soragni's Lab at the David Geffen School of Medicine, investigating high-grade serous ovarian cancer; an experience that sparked a genuine passion for cancer research.

She subsequently gained clinical experience as a scribe in the UC Davis Emergency Department, furthering her interest in medicine.
